Babies 101 is a FUN and EDUCATIONAL way for NEW MOMS to meet one another while enjoying good food at local restaurants. At Babies 101, we understand that when you are a new parent, just taking a shower may feel like a challenge. 

OUR GOAL is to get you out of the house with your baby, involved with other new moms and FEELING GOOD! Each luncheon is held in a private room at a child-friendly restaurant in the Fairfield/Westport area. Various speakers share their expertise with participants. Each session includes an open discussion where moms share their questions, concerns and parenting experiences.

The program runs in six-week intervals. We meet from 11:30-2:00 on Tuesdays. One may sign up for just one session, or the whole series. (If you sign up for the whole six weeks, one session is free!) The topics rotate, and include: 

Child Development • Breast Feeding • Nutrition • Child Safety • Early Language Skills • Dealing with Mother/Mother-in-law • Play Activities for Babies • Reading to Your Baby • Maintaining the Marital Relationship• •Rubberstamping • Sleep • Starting a Successful Playgroup • Scrapbooking • Understanding Your Baby’s Emotional and Psychological Needs • Post-natal Exercise  • 

Presenters are experts in their field, and include pediatricians, nurses, lactation consultants, therapists and child development specialists.
