Come Out and Play!
Join Fairfield’s Playgroup!
C’mon, get outta the house!
Come out and play with other parents and their children. Fairfield’s
playgroup is designed to provide socialization and parent education for
Fairfield moms and dads and their pre-K children.
Weekly,
two-hour sessions are designed for fun and learning. Field trips,
crafts, story time, games and open play are all neatly woven into the
fabric of this informal group. It is led by a soc ial worker who is also
a mother of a young child. Our playgroup meets at the Fairfield YMCA on Monday afternoons, 3:00-5:00.
To qualify,
participants must live in Fairfield and meet income
qualifications. Please contact Parasol for additional information, to make a
referral or register for the program.
The Town
of Fairfield’s Community and Economic Development Department supports
this playgroup, with funds from HUD’s Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG).
